Nithya Menen in T K Rajeev Kumar’s next Kolambi

Nithya Menen will play the lead in director TK Rajeev Kumar’s next film titled Kolambi. Director TK Rajeev Kumar is back after a long hiatus with this film whose shooting has commenced at Thiruvananthapuram.

Aristo Suresh plays the male lead. Renji Panicker, Baiju, Dileesh Pothan, and Rohini form the rest of the cast.

Roopesh Omana is producing the film under the banner of Nirmalyam Cinema. Ravi Varman is cranking the camera and Sabu Cyril is in charge of the production design. Resul Pookutty is handling the sound department.

Nithya, who began her film career as a child artiste, has so far acted in 47 films and is among the most sought-after actresses in the south. Known for her ability to fit effortlessly into any role, the ‘one-take’ star (that is how she is known in tinsel town), Nithya comes as a safe bet for producers.

She made a comeback to Telugu cinema after a two-year gap in a cameo role in Vijay Devarakonda-Rashmika Mandanna starrer Gita Govindam.
