Jennifer Lawrence engaged to art director Cooke Maroney

Jennifer Lawrence is engaged to boyfriend Cooke Maroney. Her publicist confirmed Wednesday the 28-year-old Academy Award winner’s engagement, but did not provide additional details. People magazine reported in June 2018 that Lawrence was dating Maroney, who is the director of an art gallery in New York City.

Speculation surrounding a proposal made headlines when Lawrence was spotted wearing a “massive ring” on her finger during a recent date night with her 33-year-old fiancé. Many fans of Lawrence took to Twitter to congratulate the Mother! actress on her engagement.

“It was a giant rock. They seemed like they were celebrating and people were talking about it,” a source told Page Six. “The ring was very noticeable. They were sitting back in a corner. She was wearing a cute black dress with white polka dots.”

Lawrence, who previously had a relationship with director Darren Aronofsky, has finished filming her fourth installment of X-Men: Dark Phoenix, which is expected in theatres in June.
