Jacqueline Fernandez | The latest Bollywood celebrities to join Akshay Kumar’s #PadmanChallenge is stunning beauty Jacqueline Fernandez.

Akshay Kumar’s ‘PadMan’ is a story of a real-life superhero Arunachalam Muruganathan, who invented a low-cost sanitary pad manufacturing-machine to bring a menstrual hygiene revolution for women. The film also stars Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor in pivotal roles. With ‘PadMan’ finally hitting the screens today, the excitement for the film has been higher than ever.

‘PadMan’ has been the talk of the town since it’s announcement and recently got a new boost with the trending #PadmanChallenge that is taking social media by storm. Apart from his film promoting menstrual hygiene, Akki is using his star power to rid taboos around menstruation by calling upon his filmstar friends to join the cause and asking them to post a picture posing with a sanitary pad.

Jacqueline Fernandez accepts the ongoing viral Padman Challenge and urges every girl to promote the Pad and finds the whole initiative amazing!

The campaign was kicked off by the Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte, which have been joined by the likes of Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor and Katrina Kaif along with many others.

Now Jacqueline Fernandez accepts the challenge, shares her picture with Pad on social media and rather than nominating few others to take up the challenge, she nominates every girl to promote the Pad.

Jacqueline captioned her picture, “10% of girls in India think menstruation is a disease…14% suffer from menstrual infections… all the best team #padman @akshaykumar @sonamkapoor R Balki this is an amazing initiative!! I nominate all those girls who want to make a difference in this world!! Promote the pad!!!”

On the work front, Jacqueline Fernandez is a busy-bee as always, she is shooting back to back for Race 3, Drive and a special item number in upcoming Baaghi 2.

Drive is an upcoming heist action drama film, directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Karan Johar. It stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vikramjeet Virk and Sapna Pabbi in the lead roles.

Race 3 pairs Jacqueline with Salman Khan in Remo D’souza directorial, which also stars Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor.

Recently it was confirmed that Jacqueline will be dancing to rehashed version of Ek Do Teen from Tezaab, which features Madhur Dixit for upcoming Baaghi 2.
