Kate Hudson Wished Mom Goldie Hawn a Happy Birthday
Kate Hudson celebrated her mom’s birthday in the sweetest way. Hudson took to her Instagram with a generational photo for her mom’s birthday featuring the two of them and Hudson’s oldest son, Ryder. Actor Goldie Hawn turned 73 on Wednesday.
“Fearless leader, my number one, my heart, my love, my joy, my everything, MY MAMA!” Hudson captioned the photo, which featured Ryder sandwiched between his mom and grandma on the beach. “Happy happy happy birthday,” she continued, then added a red heart emoji before tagging her mom and son.
In September, Hawn shared photos of herself and Kate Hudson promoting their partnership with Fabletics for the MindUp collection. Also in September, the mother-daughter pair appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show together. It was apparent then their relationship is closer than ever. We’re definitely hoping for more family photos as the holidays come around this year.
People reports that two days prior to her birthday, Hawn attended the premiere of partner Kurt Russell’s new Netflix film, The Christmas Chronicle, alongside son Oliver Hudson and his wife, Erinn Bartlett, as well as Russell’s son, Wyatt. Oliver Hudson and Bartlett’s three children were also in attendance, though Kate Hudson and her brood were not present.
However, Russell told People at the premiere that he’s excited to spend time with his newest grandchild, Hudson and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa’s daughter Rani: “[I]t will be fun just to watch her little eyes looking at the lights on the Christmas tree and taking it all in for the first time.”
