Cardi B was left exposed after getting into a fight with Nicki Minaj
Cardi B and Nicki Minaj were involved in a heated altercation during a party in New York. In videos captured by eonline.com and fellow guests, the two rappers were seen in a scuffle towards the end of the party.
A source said Minaj was mingling with guests and keeping to herself when Cardi lunged at her and began shouting. Minaj continued on with her night. Footage appeared on social media showing Cardi B throwing a red high heel at Minaj. While no police reports have been filed as of yet, Cardi was seen escorted out of the private event with her team in tow. Also visible was a large bump above her left eye.

During the altercation, Minaj, 35, was up against a wall and completely surrounded by security as Cardi, 25, screamed and lunged at her. Cardi was the one to throw her shoe at Minaj, it remains unclear how she ended up with a welt on her head, but Minaj did not. The source adds that it’s possible the shoe could have ricocheted back and hit her in the face.
Cardi was surrounded by her own team as she exited the event and was visibly upset and crying. While her team initially tried to wrap the dress around her head to prevent cameras from getting a shot of her with the visible welt, they were too late, the source explains. Cardi did want to give a statement to police, who were already on the scene to provide extra security for the event and were not called in because of the altercation.
Cardi then went on to explain that Minaj allegedly attacked her parenting skills, which is what ultimately pushed her over the edge. Cardi and Minaj’s fight comes just a few months after the rappers seemingly made up at the Met Gala in May. The two were photographed talking and smiling while inside.
