Director Bala, a six-time National Award winner is a popular name in Tamil and he is known for making films with revolutionary concepts and do you know that his debut movie ‘Sethu’ was with Dhruv’s father, Chiyaan Vikram. Though the promos of ‘Varma’ didn’t go well as the comparison with the original is quite heavy, one can at least count on the abilities of the director. Let’s see.

For a debut film, Chiyaan Vikram has definitely selected a tough movie for his son Dhruv. It was a tough role and the kind of emotions that the hero (Vijay Deverakonda) has to portray are too intense for a debutante to master.
